Your character has two numeric attributes, Body and Spirit, that go up and down during the course of play. Neither number can go above its maximum or below zero.
- Your character’s Body is a measure of their physical resilience in the face of injury. Your Body plus your Armor (if any) determines your Hits. You lose Hits as you’re damaged in combat, regain them from certain abilities, and become subdued when they reach zero.
- Your character’s Spirit is your reservoir of energy, focus, or stamina. You expend Spirit every time you use a combat ability and replenish it by taking a brief rest.
